Save this for when you need it.
We all slide up and down the scale from feeling hopeful to feeling hopeless, depending on the circumstances within which we find ourselves.
To move back up the scale, toward hopeful, remember these three important factors to personal success and get back in the game sooner.
- The future can always be brighter than your past, no matter how great your past or “the good old days” may have been. Metaphorically, the sun is always shining, even above the clouds, and the clouds are always changing and moving. The sun is always there, even if we can’t see it.
- Remember that you always have the ability to choose the healthiest perspective from which to operate. You can learn, do, and breakthrough if you are committed to your personal success. As Marie Forleo says, “Everything is figure-outable.” (Love that.)
- There is always more than one path or way to achieve personal success—and you may have to take more than one path. There may be switchbacks and obstacles. However, if your future (see #1 above) is compelling enough, it will create a vacuum that will provide you the impulses to do what is needed, for as long as it’s needed, to be successful. The future you envision creates your reality, today.
